Paronella Park Day Tours from Cairns
The story behind Paronella Park is Jose Paronella who arrived from Spain to North Queensland in 1913. He purchased 13 acres of virgin scrub along Mena Creek in 1929 and began to build his dream of a castle, gardens and reception area for the public. Mark and Judy Evans, the current owner/operators, purchased the Park in 1993 and formulated a plan to put the Park back on the map. Paronella Park is now one of Queensland’s most awarded attraction. It's well worth the visit
